It was the most wonderful time of the year, just like that old Christmas carol said. Jack loved winter on the island, even if it wasn't an island anymore. Years before he had spent his time in the snow, hunting the forest for Christmas trees, hanging out in the kitchen to socialize and have cocoa. This year there was a whole city to explore. Danny doesn't want to linger very long. It's cold, he's not wearing gloves seeing as he's trying to nail a goddamn notice up the old-fashioned way and he nearly hits his goofy thumbs every other try. Eventually, he does get the notice up and he smooths it down carefully, giving it a baleful look.
